Gold Medal Ales are produced monthly
in recognition of some of the 'greats' of history. On December 7th 1983, Fred Dibnah was prevented from felling a 160ft mill chimney by a ginger tom called 'George', that had been put up there by a prankster. George avoided Fred's grasp and was left up top all night in the vain hope that he would find his own way down. |
